Leg Day & Grocery Haul
Good morning... Good Morning....GOOD MORNING!!! Today, I'll just be doing a blog post....mostly because I couldn't get any good footage at the gym today since there were so many people!!
I'm not quite comfortable enough to film myself in front of people yet.....I don't want to be "that girl!" However in groups filming is totally acceptable, don't ask me why. Just a little break down of my morning for ya!
Started off in a hurry this morning so I threw together some plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup grapes, a cup of coffee and out the door I went!
Next meal was after class around 10:00 I scarfed down a quest bar, I was starving!
Since I procrastinated this weekend and did NOT meal prep, I thought it was a good idea to run by HEB and grab some items for the week!
Here we have:
Rice cakes Carmel & individual bags for snacking
Raspberries
Strawberries
Tri-Color Peppers
Brussel Sprouts
Asparagus
Broccoli
Green Beans
Gluten Free Oats
Egg Beaters
Almond Milk
Turkey bacon
Canadian Ham (gotta love those Canadians)
coffee creamer and Artic Zero
After my shopping trip I was hungry again-----> go figure. So I ate two Carmel corn rice cakes with almond butter for some energy before the gym.....
Doesn't everyone drink there pre-workout from a Despicable Me cup?
Cause I'm Happieeeeee.....

Back on Track
Hey guys! Sorry for the extended hiatus! I am really trying to keep up with this blogging thing, since I am so new to this it may take a while before I get the hang of it! I really want to keep things exciting for anyone who comes across here, but its hard when your life is pretty darn normal! I wish I lived a Kardashian kinda life, wait no….um no I don’t. Anyhow I will try to keep things interesting! Lots of fitness, healthy eating, fashion and home decorating style. I am actually going to attempt fixing a hole in the bathroom wall tomorrow! Hold on to your seats, its gonna get CRAZY up in here! But seriously, if anyone has a husband like mine who……shall we say is not a Tim the tool man Taylor, then you know its up to us ladies to strap on the tool belt and give a ole “Hi Ho neighbor!” I’ll put together a step by step guide to walk you through the process. Please keep in mind I have NO IDEA what I am doing as well!
Today was a beautiful day here in Corpus Christi Texas a whopping 60 degrees! Having said that, were in November just experienced our first cold front today! I can really get used to this!

Sore What!
So
yesterday was a great day at the gym, However today I am paying for it!
You know how you go to the gym with every intention of doing good and
the next day you feel nothing! So back to the gym you go to make up for
it and BAM! Your in a wheelchair for a week! I still haven't perfected
this working out thing. I feel super guilty every time I workout but
don't feel sore the next day. So I return to the gym like some crazy
jock on steroids lifting every weight I can find and severely pay for it
the next day! There's got to be some medium here!
So today Ive been walking around like a new born baby deer which is kinda cute yet very creepy. Needless to say no gym pics or workouts today! Good news though, I did hit a 145 squat yesterday! Which is probably where this soreness came from.
Looks like Ive got a date with some Epsom salt! I love taking baths with this stuff! I just add a few drops of Lavender oil to the bath and soak for about 40 minutes. It really does the trick! One days like today I supplement with some calcium, magnesium, and glutamine usually my soreness is gone by the following day!
I beg to differ! haha I kid... I kid

After that we had a great workout this afternoon!
Started off with a 60 minute yoga class which brought heightened peace and clarity to my life, followed by a sweat, grunt filled, power workout that had me wondering where the heck all the peace and clarity went!?
